As far as I can remember cooking has always been something I loved. I was raised by my grandfather for a while and he cooked like every day was Thanksgiving! He also cooked for the whole damn neighborhood, it seemed. In the mid-80s and 90s in Crown Heights Brooklyn, he tried to make sure there were more plates of food in the streets than crack vials. I’m talking fried chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens, yams and corn bread! Not to mention the staples of baking: chocolate cake, coconut pineapple cake, banana pudding, apple cobbler and peach cobbler! All of it! Being around that at a young age, you could say it rubbed off on me. Maybe juuuust a tiny bit.
Is that Box Cake?
Do you deliver?
Yes! It used to be free but now there's a fee. And just like the Chinese delivery man, tips are greatly appreciated. But I’m not delivering to you way out in Timbuktu!
Can I get a discount?
A: The Number you have reached 718-913-5324 is no longer in service, because Kareem couldn't afford to pay his phone bill because all y'all want discounts on a 30 dollar order. Message 1489
